With the descent configuration and brand reliability, the device is a good choice within your budget. It is offered with some exciting features to assist the user, which includes a Smart manager and Ultra Data Saving mode. Overall, it is an exciting product from Samsung which does not let you down on any aspect.

Display and Configuration

The Samsung Galaxy J2 2017 comes with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display and features a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The phone comes in two colour options – Absolute Black and Metallic Gold. Driving the smartphone is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 1GB of RAM to aid the lag-free performance of the device. 

The smartphone runs on Android v7.0 (nougat) operating system. Like other Samsung phones launched recently, this also comes with smart features including an ultra-data saving mode and Smart manager. The ultra-data saving mode helps to save your data by 50 percentage. While the Smart manager helps to free the storage space automatically by deleting duplicate images and APK files from your device.
 
Camera and Storage

The flagship smartphone from Samsung features a 5MP Primary camera with LED flash, which captures good quality images and shoots videos at 30fps. At the front-end, the device is equipped with a 2MP Secondary camera to take selfies and make video-calls over hangout, Skype, etc. In terms of storage, the handset houses an internal memory of 8GB and there is also a memory card slot available, which supports expandable storage up to 128GB. 

Battery and Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy J2 2017 gets its energy from a 2,000mAh Li-ion battery, which claims to deliver a talk time of around 12hours on 3G network. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n with hotspot feature, Bluetooth v4.1, a GPS, an audio jack and a micro USB 2.0 slot. The device lacks fingerprint sensor.
